Lakeside is one of three paintings from Bagnoles de L'Orne, a town close to my studio in Northern France. The town attracts a lot of tourism due to it's unusual architecture for the area, and originally from the health benefits of the spa and Hydrotherapy baths there. The architecture includes many buildings with red and white chequered walls.
