Week 49: The Marina Gardens, Margate

Hello and welcome to a public community garden in Margate, dedicated to the friendship between the Margate people and the Greek community. This small garden sits under the shadow of the beautiful Margate clock tower and within throwing distance of the famous Dreamland. Margate was the home of Tracy Emin and has inspired many artists throughout the years, including Turner. The Turner Contemporary towers over the sea, reminding us of that connection and putting on many great art exhibitions too. Join me for a walk around by clicking on the video above.
